After the initial consultation and written quotes have been agreed, we would then discuss start dates and then implement the works schedule. At Cambridge pools we control the whole project, all the work from groundworks to finishing touches is done by our own teams. There is no need to find your own groundworkers or landscapers we will take care of it all.
Our team will excavate your pool, trenches and surrounding areas are excavated in a clean and efficient way, we have many years of experience in handling volumes of soil. Drainage and pool construction begins and is a fairly rapid process you will see the dream of your own pool unfolding day by day.
Once the shell is up and the first fix plumbing and fittings are in the floor and back filling comes next. At this point the liner is on its way, the copings are going on and the pool surround is starting to take shape ready for paving. If you have chosen a roman end that would be fitted, back filled and the swimmer three tread stainless steel steps in postion.
Underlay and liner is fitted then its the big fill and probably the most exciting part of your pool construction. As the pool fills all the finial fittings go in and the pool is nearly ready to go. Paving surround is finished with whatever paving you choose, all surround areas are tidied, turf repairs, site cleared and made ready for use. We fill set up and fit your covers weather you opt for the package roller cover or upgrade to an automatic electric cover. We will pre fit the winter debris cover ready for use.
PUMP HOUSE & HEATING
The Technical Bit
Within the package we have included a concrete base and a standard 7x5ft wooden shed to house the pool equipment. This will house the Filter and pump, from here you can control the pools skimmers, main drains, heating and electrics. The pools usually have 2 x Spectravision moonlight underwater LED lights. The Heaters we use are Dura Pro heat pumps and will be fitted on the concrete pad next to the shed. You will get the initial chemicals to start the pool along with the vacuum set, hose and brush. The pool has a Certikin automatic top up which will have an isolation tap in the pump hose along with a general outdoor tap because you will always need a hose point! Hopefully you will have room to store chemicals and the odd pool toy too.
LANDSCAPING SURROUND
Paving around pool
Once your pool is complete, we would back fill the pool and set in a reinforced concrete ring beam around the pool. Rather than leaving it there for you to find a Landscaping company, we have our own. Within the price we have allowed to lay a 2m wide strip of paving around the pool totalling 64m2. For this we have allowed to use a natural Sandstone paving, usually comes in a mixed size pack and is available in many colours. It is up to you if you want narrower side and more at one end, or if you want to add to the quantity. All surrounding areas will be tidied, weather they are lawn or beds.
